Philanthropic ArtAdventure combines Family 7 Group Holiday with Charity /Philanthropy work and capacity. Every Tour Participant has made contributions (through the Tour Cost) to a charitable project through our Partners – Afrika Awake Foundations.
During the Tour, you will be able to visit and hand over the DONATED Contribution to the charities as chosen and learn first hand how your travel into East Africa is changing lives of deserving communities.

If you are on a Philanthropic Adventure Tour, you will get an opportunity to interact will charitable homes where deserving communities are empowered. Your Tour Cost includes a certain percentage of contribution towards charity and thus you get to hand over the Donated Amounts to these Groups.
After arranging your own flights from home, you arrive into Nairobi’s Jomo Kenya International Airport where you will be assisted through the immigration and customs formalities by our Representative and transferred to your Nairobi Hotel. Over night at the Stanley Hotel on BB basis at your Hotel.

Wake up call will be arranged for all participants. Breakfast will be served at our hotel followed by a programme orientation meeting with the Tour Director. This is also the time that all those with materials for Donations to various groups will present them for logistical preparations.
(After the meeting, we drive through the streets of Corner Baridi to Tania Integrated Rehabilitation Center run and Managed by Joseph and Josphine Kigunda, one of the Pioneer Educator of Children with hearing disabilties: Here we participate in Feeding programmes as well as visiting with the Children. After lunch, depart for the Giraffe Center and Kazuri beads before driving through Kibera Slums on our way back to the We shall return to the Hotel in time to prepare for the groups Welcome Dinner at the Hotel. After an early breakfast, we depart for the highlands north of Nairobi to the Limuru coffee and tea plantations area of Kibubuti( Valentine Growers). We visit and enjoy lunch with one of the pioneer tea and Coffee growing Kenyan families. After lunch departing for Mount Kenya through the central Kenya we get to view Kikuyu traditional and modern farmlands, arriving at the Mount Kenya forest later in the evening to check in for dinner and at Mountain Lodge Tree hotel. We shall get an opportunity to view African Wildlife coming to water and lick salt at the floodlit waterhole. Overnight at:

After a cool mountainous morning breakfast with a possible clear view of Kenya’s Highest Mountain (Mount Kenya), we depart for the Northern part of Kenya, stopping at the Equator for a photo session; we proceed to the Nanyuki Spinners, a Women Self Help project assisting the women from the Nanyuki Township area to support themselves. We visit the Wool spinning factory and the nearby school, donating some stationery and other materials; we get to view the finished products in the group’s shop. Lunch will be awaiting us at the Sweet waters Serena Camp at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Later in the afternoon a visit to the only Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Kenya and the Adjacent Rhino Sanctuary is scheduled, followed by a leisurely game viewing run within the ranch. Depart for an early morning game viewing run, retuning to the Camp for a quick breakfast. Thereafter we shall depart for the Northern Kenya driving on the leeward side of Mount Kenya., descending into the Lowland dry scrubland of Samburu. This region is home to the Nilo-Sudanic and Afro-Asiatic linguistic group of Samburu, Rendille and the Turkana as well as Somali and Borana nomadic groups. We will get to view Northern Wildlife species like the Reticulated Giraffes and the Grevy Zebras as well as the Oryx and Somali Ostrich not forgetting the elegant Gerenuk on our way to the lodge. Lunch will be awaiting us at our lodge. After lunch, a leisurely rest by the pool, or walk around the lodge interacting with the famous and friendly Black faced vervet monkeys and the crocodiles lazily basking on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River. Wake up to the calls and songs of the African bird life and Serene cool morning dawn for an early morning game viewing run. Possible encounters with late hunters as well as viewing the daily Animal movements from the safe higher ground to avoid predators. Best timing for active animal photo shots. Returning to the lodge for a well deserved breakfast.
We will be visiting the local communities on this day in their original homestead or villages. Departing with our donation materials, we shall drive through the park viewing game on the way to Archers Post area of Samburu National Reserve. Exiting the reserve, we shall get a full view of Samburu village dwellings and their dry area adapted livestock. Visiting with the villager here we get to see and experience one of the Afrika Awake supported schools. We get to assist with the school feeding programmes’ lunch preparation and feeding of the children. Returning to our lodge for lunch for those that will not have had lunch with the school kids. After an early breakfast, depart for the Rift valley through Town of Nyahururu, stopping at the Thomason Falls (photo stop). then continue to the Great Rift Valley Lodge. Lunch at the Lodge. Depart after breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park( Home to the Flamingoes). Continue with game run around the lake stopping for lunch at the Lion Hills Lodge. After lunch, drive through the Agricultural town of Nakuru. This region is regarded as the bread basket of Kenya. We shall have a quick game drive at the Lake Bogoria National Reserve to view the hot water springs (Geysers) and the abundance of pink flamingos. Proceed to Lake Baringo for Dinner and Overnight.

Full day spent at Lake Baringo take some time off to enjoy the beautiful grounds by the club. After an early breakfast, transfer to the Airstrip for your morning scheduled flight to Nairobi Wilson Airport. In the evening you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your connecting flight home-bound.
