This
itinerary has a wonderful combination of cultural experiences,
magnificent scenery, as well as superb vehicle game viewing. We
have scheduled this tour to ensure the best of the game viewing.
There is no better place to be in late August than the Maasai
Mara where the annual wildebeest migration begins! The weather
is ideal for a visit ? daytime temperatures in the 70?s, little
chance of rain, and lots of daylight hours.
We’ll visit three different areas so that we can see the
widest diversity of animals, but also have time to explore the
African culture as we cross the country of Kenya.

where the wildlife is accustomed to people and to a close approach
by vehicles.

safari is really for anyone who is serious, either about wildlife
and nature photography, or about in-depth, intense, and patient
animal viewing. The two, for a photographer, are the same, for
patience, time, and luck are required in order to obtain great
wildlife images. Please read the following section carefully.
While almost everyone who travels with us are like-minded, there
are, on occasion, one or two people who are not. This is not a
