001 Tree Hotel - Samburu 4 Days
Day
1 National Reserve - Mount Kenya National Park
Drive through farmlands before reaching the foothills of Mt. Kenya
where coffee is grown. Arrive at your base hotel for lunch. Afterwards
drive through the forest to reach your hotel watching the never
ending pageant of wildlife which visits the floodlit water hole
and saltlick below. Dinner and overnight at the Treetops / Ark.

2 Tree Hotel - Samburu
After breakfast continue northwards, skirting the mass of Mount
Kenya, to reach Samburu National Reserve for lunch. In the afternoon
a game drive affords the opportunity to see certain northern species
of game not seen south of the equator. These include the resplendent
reticulated giraffe, gravy’s Zebra and Somali Ostrich. Dinner
and overnight at the Samburu Serena / Larsens / Samburu Intrepids.

3 Samburu - Mount Kenya Safari Club
A morning game drive in this wild but splendid Reserve. Continue
to luxurious Mount Kenya Safari Club which its immaculately manicured
gardens nestle on the frosted slopes of the mountain. The afternoon
is free to enjoy the numerous option facilities of the club which
include horse riding, tennis, golf, bowls, swimming or just luxuriating
in the comfort and beauty of your surroundings. Dinner and overnight
at the Mt Kenya Safari Club.

4 Mount Kenya - Nairobi
After another restful morning return to Nairobi via Nyeri where
lunch is taken at the Outspan Hotel. Lord Baden-Powell, the founder
of the Boy Scout movement spent the years at the Outspan and is
buried in Nyeri cemetery'. Reach Nairobi in the early evening.
KWS 002 Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara 4 Days
Day 1 Nairobi - Nakuru
Shortly after leaving Nairobi the vast panorama of the Great Rift
Valley unfolds below you and there are splendid stopping places
from which photography is exceptionally spectacular. Cross the
valley floor to rent Lake Nakuru National Park, world renowned
for its spectacle millions of flamingo. The Park is rich in other
bird life and there is surprising number of animals in this beautiful
reserve. The night is spent at Lions Hill Lodge / Lake Nakuru
Day
2 Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara
There is a chance to view the beauty of Lake Naivasha, with its
varied bird life, before driving across the plains to reach the
Maasai Mara National Reserve in time for lunch. Afternoon game
view will doubtless offer the sight of the huge black mane lions
for which the Mara is justly famous. Overnight at Keekorok Lodge
/ Mara Sopa Lodge.

3 Maasai Mara
The day is spent watching and photographing game in the finest
of Kenya's game sanctuaries
The Mara's landscape is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills
, which enables the reserve to attract sufficient rainfall to
maintain and support alarge population of herbivores , together
with the predators that follow. Elephant , Lion , Buffalo can
be seen with relative ease though luck is a necessary factor for
spotting Rhino and Leopard that complete the big five as the two
animals are very timid and sparsely numbered. Plains game like
wild beest , Zebra and masai giraffe abound as well as hippos
and a wide variety of antelopes including Impala , dik dik , hartebeest
, Grants, Gazelle and Thompson's gazelle among others. Overnight
at Keekorok Lodge / Mara Sopa Lodge.

4 Maasai Mara - Nairobi
After breakfast return to Nairobi which is reached by lunch time.

003 Tree Hotel - Samburu National Reserve - Lake Nakuru &
Naivasha 5 Days.
Day
1 Nairobi - Tree Hotel
Drive northwards through the farmlands of the Kikuyu people to
reach Mount Kenya and the small town of Nyeri in time for lunch.
In the early afternoon drive through the forest to your Tree Hotel
where the night is spent high above the floodlit water hotel and
saltlick. Frequent visitors are elephant, rhino, buffalo, and
giant forest hog. Overnight at Ark / Treetops.
Day
2 Tree Hotel - Samburu
After breakfast flank Mount Kenya and descend into the dry and
rugged semi-desert Samburu National Reserve where is situated.
Harsh but beautiful this reserve harbours many species of animal
not found in the more lush parks to the south. Afternoon game
drive dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena / Larsens.
Day
3 Samburu National Reserve
The day is spent exploring this Reserve. You will almost certainly
see the graceful reticulate giraffe, Gravy’s Zebra, Elephant
and the Oryx perhaps the legend of the unicorn. Overnight at Samburu
Serena / Larsens.
Day
4 Samburu - Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha
After breakfast drive to Lake Nakuru stopping enroute for a brief
look at the magnificent Thompson's falls where the waters of Ngare
Naro cascade in a sheer drop of 73 metres. Lunch at Nakuru before
visiting the world famous bird sanctuary and National Park where
sight of millions or more flamingoes has been described by Sir
Peter Scott as " the world's greatest bird spectacle".
There is also much game to be seen before spending the night at
Lake Nakuru Lodge / Lionhill Lodge.
Day
5 Lake Nakuru - Nairobi
After breakfast a relaxing look at the beautiful Lake Nakuru richly
endowed with birds species) before returning to Nairobi which
is reached by lunchtime.

004 Tree Hotel-Mount Kenya-Nakuru-Maasai Mara
Day
1 Nairobi - Tree Hotel
Leave after breakfast to reach the small town of Nyeri for a sumptuous
lunch before leaving for the tree hotel of your choice, (Treetops,
the Ark or Mountain Lodge) in the early afternoon The night is
spent in your comfortable perch above the floodlit water hole
and salt lick when each and every night a procession of animals
comes to drink

2 Tree Hotel - Mount Kenya Safari Club
After breakfast a short drive brings you to the Mount Kenya Safari
Club whose membership includes a host of movie stars, politicians
and aristocrats. Here you can have a day of total relaxation in
the splendid landscaped surroundings. Activities available include
golf, tennis, horse riding, and of course swimming in the heated
pool. Overnight and all meals at the Club.
Day
3 Mount Kenya - Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha
During the morning cross the tip of Aberdare mountains stopping
briefly to admire the 37 metres. plunge of Thompson's Falls, named
after the Scots explorer who first saw the Falls in 1884. Continue
to Lake Nakuru for Lunch and an afternoon visit to lake Nakuru
National Park Where the sight of a million or more flamingoes
cannot be forgotten. Overnight at the Lake Nakuru Lodge / Lion
Hill in the Park or continue to Lake Naivasha for overnight at
a lakeside hotel.
Day
4 Maasai Mara
There is time after breakfast, to saviour the beauty and tranquility
of the lake before departing for the Maasai Mara where it should
be possible to locate the huge black mane lions for which the
Reserve is famous. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena / Mara
Intrepids.
Day
5 Maasai Mara
A full day game viewing and exploration of these, Kenya's finest
Reserve, More than 60 species of wildlife are found here as well
as a multitude of birds. All meals and overnight at Mara Serena
/ Mara Intrepids
Day 6 Maasai Mara - Nairobi
After breakfast return via the Great Rift Valley to Nairobi in
the early evening.
